Ingredients
Angelica sinensis (steamed), White Peony Root (wine-fried), Bupleurum Root (vinegar-fried), Cyperus Rhizome (vinegar-fried), Atractylodes Rhizome (fried with wheat bran), Poria Cocos, Gardenia Fruit (fried), Moutan Cortex, Mentha Herb, Glycyrrhizae Radix and Rhizoma.

Properties
This product is grayish yellow to yellow brown (sugar-containing type), or brown to brownish black (low-sugar type) granules; it has a fragrant odor and a sweet, slightly bitter taste.

Functions and Indications
It soothes the liver, regulates qi, and disperses stagnation to regulate menstruation. It is used for liver qi stagnation manifested as pain in the two ribs, chest and abdominal distension, irregular menstruation, headache and dizziness, irritability, bitter taste in the mouth and dry throat, as well as dark facial patches (melasma) caused by liver qi stagnation.

Dosage and Administration
Oral administration. One bag each time, twice a day, taken with warm water or ginger decoction.

Contraindications
Pregnant women are prohibited from using it; diabetics are prohibited from using it.

Precautions

1. Avoid eating cold and greasy foods that are difficult to digest.
2. Maintain a positive mood during medication and avoid getting angry or upset.
