Drug Composition

This product is a compound preparation, with each tablet containing 2mg of Chlormadinone Acetate and 0.035mg of Ethinyl Estradiol.

Properties

This product is a film-coated tablet. After removing the film coating, it appears white or nearly white.

Indications

1. As an oral contraceptive: Chlormadinone Acetate and Ethinyl Estradiol Tablets are a highly effective method of birth control. When taken correctly (without missing doses), the chance of pregnancy is very low.
2. For the treatment of androgen-dependent diseases in women: such as acne (especially with seborrhea, inflammation, or nodular acne), androgenic alopecia in women, mild hirsutism, and androgenic symptoms in patients with polycystic ovary syndrome.

Dosage and Administration

1. Take one tablet daily at about the same time with a small amount of lukewarm or cold water. Take one tablet daily for 21 consecutive days.
2. Start the next pack after a 7-day break, during which withdrawal bleeding usually occurs. Bleeding usually begins 2-3 days after taking the last active tablet of the cycle, and may not have ended when the next pack is started.
3. If switching from another oral contraceptive to this product, it is best to start taking this product immediately after taking the last active tablet of the previous oral contraceptive, but no later than the end of the previous contraceptive cycle's placebo pills.
4. Follow the instructions of your healthcare provider for specific guidance on switching from another contraceptive method to this product.

Precautions

Contraindications include: history or presence of venous or arterial thromboembolic diseases (such as deep venous thrombosis, pulmonary embolism, myocardial infarction) or cerebrovascular accidents; history or presence of precursor symptoms of thrombosis; migraine with focal neurological symptoms; diabetes mellitus complicated by severe hypertriglyceridemia; history of pancreatitis associated with severe hypertriglyceridemia; history or presence of severe liver disease until liver function values have returned to normal; history or presence of liver tumors (benign or malignant); known or suspected malignancy affected by sexual steroids (such as the genital organs or breast); and lactation (consult your healthcare provider before use).

Adverse Reactions

Possible adverse reactions include breast tenderness, pain, enlargement, or secretion; headache, migraine, changes in libido or mood; nausea, vomiting, and other gastrointestinal reactions; skin disorders (such as rash, nodular erythematosus, polymorphic erythematosus); changes in vaginal secretions; intolerance to contact lenses; fluid retention; weight changes; allergic reactions; abnormal liver function; increased serum triglycerides, etc.
