Ingredients
Andrographis paniculata, Teen Grass (Rabdosia serra), and Bitterwood (Picrasma quassioides).

Properties
This product is a film-coated tablet. When the coating is removed, it appears brown or brownish-green and has a bitter taste.

Functions and Indications
It clears heat, removes dampness, and stimulates the gallbladder. It is used for bitter taste in the mouth, hypochondriac pain caused by damp-heat in the liver and gallbladder, and acute cholecystitis and cholangitis.

Dosage and Administration
Oral administration. Take 6 tablets each time, 3 times a day.

Pharmacological Effects

It can reduce ear swelling in mice induced by xylene, inhibit increased capillary permeability in mice caused by acetic acid, inhibit foot swelling in rats induced by egg white and granuloma hyperplasia in rats caused by cotton balls. It can also inhibit ear swelling in mice caused by croton oil and foot swelling in rats caused by carrageenan. It has antibacterial effects. It can reduce the mortality rate of mice infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa. In vitro tests have shown that it inhibits Staphylococcus aureus, Salmonella, Shigella, etc. It has gallbladder-stimulating effects. It increases bile secretion in rats. It has analgesic effects. It can inhibit the writhing response in mice caused by acetic acid.
