Drug Name:
Xiangju Capsule

Composition:
Sequenced Fruit of Huaxiang Tree (without seeds), Prunella vulgaris (Self-Heal), Chrysanthemum indicum (Wild Chrysanthemum), Astragalus membranaceus (Milkvetch Root), Xanthium sibiricum (Cocklebur Fruit), Saposhnikovia divaricata (Fangfeng Root), Angelica dahurica (Bai Zhi), Glycyrrhiza uralensis (Licorice Root), Ligusticum wallichii (Chuanxiong Rhizome). Excipients: Corn Starch, Magnesium Stearate.

Characteristics:
Capsule formulation; content appears yellow-brown to brown-black; slightly aromatic, sweet, slightly sour, and slightly bitter in taste.

Indications:
Promotes dispersing wind, clears heat, and unblocks orifices. Used for acute and chronic sinusitis, rhinitis.

Specification:
Each capsule contains 0.3g (equivalent to 3.186g of herbal pieces).

Dosage and Administration:
Oral administration. 2–4 capsules per dose, 3 times daily.

Adverse Reactions:
Reported adverse reactions include nausea, diarrhea, abdominal discomfort, vomiting, abdominal pain, bloating, constipation, indigestion, appetite loss, acid reflux, belching, dry mouth, rash, itching, edema, flushing, allergic reactions, palpitations, fever, chest tightness, dyspnea, dizziness, headache, drowsiness, and fatigue.

Contraindications:
Contraindicated in patients allergic to this product or its ingredients.

Precautions:

  1. Avoid spicy and fishy foods.
  2. Use with caution in pregnant women.
  3. For acute rhinitis with nasal congestion and clear discharge, use under medical supervision.
  4. If symptoms do not improve after 3 days of use or new symptoms appear, seek medical attention.
  5. Adhere to the recommended dosage.
  6. Use with caution in patients with allergies.
  7. Do not use if the product’s characteristics change.
  8. Keep out of reach of children.
  9. Avoid concurrent use with herbal formulas or medications containing seaweed, euphorbia, kansui, or daphne (due to glycyrrhizin content).
