Black concentrated pills; aromatic odor, bitter, cool taste with numbness on the tongue.

Actions and Indications
Tonifies qi, warms yang, activates blood, and alleviates pain. Used for chest impediment (bi syndrome) due to qi deficiency, yang collapse, and blood stasis obstruction, manifested as chest pain, palpitations with shortness of breath, aversion to cold, cold limbs, fatigue, spontaneous sweating; applicable to coronary heart disease and angina pectoris with the above syndromes.
