It can lower creatinine and BUN levels, stablize renal function and delay kidney dialysis. Ingredients
Rhubarb (Dahuang), Astragalus Root (Huangqi), White Mulberry Root Bark (Sangbaipi), Sophora Flavescens Root (Kushen), Atractylodes Macrocephala Rhizome (Baizhu), Poria (Fuling), White Peony Root (Baishao), Processed Polygonum Multiflorum Root (Zhiheshouwu), Salvia Miltiorrhiza Root (Danshen), Plantain Herb (Cheqiancao), etc.

Appearance
Brown or dark brown granules; slightly bitter in taste.

Indications
Promotes bowel movement to eliminate turbidity, strengthens the spleen and eliminates dampness, and activates blood circulation to remove stasis. It is indicated for chronic renal failure in the azotemia stage and early uremic stage, with TCM syndromes of spleen deficiency with damp turbidity and spleen deficiency with blood stasis. It reduces serum creatinine and urea nitrogen, stabilizes renal function, and delays dialysis initiation. It also improves renal anemia, increases serum calcium, and reduces serum phosphorus.

Dosage and Administration
Dissolve in warm water and take orally. Administer four times daily: one sachet each at 6 AM, 12 PM, and 6 PM, and two sachets at 10 PM. The maximum daily dose is eight sachets. Alternative dosing schedules may be adopted, but the interval between two doses should not exceed 8 hours.

Precautions

  1. Use under medical supervision based on the diagnosed syndrome. Administer as prescribed in terms of dosage and frequency.
  2. Adopt a renal failure diet tailored to the degree of renal dysfunction. Avoid legume-based foods.
  3. Semi-formed stools after administration are normal. Reduce the dose if diarrhea occurs.
  4. This product may be used concomitantly with antibiotics, antihypertensives, diuretics, antacids, and uric acid-lowering agents that do not impair renal function.
  5. Avoid concurrent use with chemical adsorbents such as oxidized starch.

  1. Inform your physician or pharmacist of any other medications being taken, including over-the-counter drugs purchased from pharmacies, supermarkets, or health stores.
  2. Avoid concurrent use with chemical adsorbents such as oxidized starch.
  3. Avoid high-protein foods such as fatty meat, animal organs, legumes, and nuts.
  4. This product contains Salvia Miltiorrhiza (Danshen), Codonopsis Radix (Dangshen), and White Peony Root (Baishao). Avoid concurrent use with medications containing Veratrum (Lilu).
  5. This product contains Pinellia Tuber (Banxia). Avoid concurrent use with medications containing Aconitum (Wutou).

Pharmacological Actions
This product reduces serum creatinine and urea nitrogen and improves renal function in three rat models of renal failure.
