Ingredients
This medicine mainly contains Jinqiancao (Lysimachia christinae), Yinchen (Artemisia capillaris), Huangqin (Scutellaria baicalensis), Muxiang (Aucklandia lappa), Yujin (Curcuma wenyujin), Dahuang (Rhei Radix et Rhizoma), Binglang (Areca catechu), Fu Chao Zhishi (Citrus aurantium), Mangxiao (Natrii Sulfas), and Jianghoupu (Magnolia officinalis).

Properties
Lidan Paishi Pian is a sugar-coated tablet. When the sugar coating is removed, it appears brownish-black in color; it tastes bitter and salty.

Indications
This medicine has the effects of clearing heat and promoting diuresis, as well as promoting bile secretion and expelling stones. It is used for the treatment of hypochondriac pain and biliary distension caused by damp-heat accumulation and obstruction of the fu-organs, manifested as distending pain in the hypochondrium, fever, yellow urine, and constipation; it is also used for the treatment of cholecystitis and cholelithiasis with the above symptoms.

Dosage
Oral

For stone expulsion: 6 to 10 tablets each time, twice a day;
For inflammation: 4 to 6 tablets each time, twice a day.
