Ingredients

Erigerontis (Dengzhan Xixin), Ginseng Radix et Rhizoma, Schisandrae Chinensis Fructus, Ophiopogonis Radix.

Description

This product is hard capsules, with grayish-brown to brownish-brown powder inside; taste slightly bitter.

Actions & Indications

Nourish qi and yin, activate blood and invigorate mental function.
It is used for chest pain due to qi-yin deficiency and blood stasis blocking brain collaterals, stroke sequelae with symptoms of dementia, forgetfulness, numbness of hands and feet; it is also applicable to coronary angina pectoris, ischemic cardio-cerebrovascular diseases, and hyperlipidemia with the above-mentioned patterns.

Dosage & Administration

Oral use. 2 capsules each time, 3 times a day, taken 30 minutes after meals. Two months is a treatment course, and courses can be taken consecutively. For consolidating curative effect or preventing recurrence, take 1 capsule each time, 3 times a day.

Adverse Reactions
Gastrointestinal reactions: dry mouth, nausea, abdominal distension, diarrhea.
Allergic reactions: rash, pruritus, dizziness, palpitations.
Contraindication

Acute stage of cerebral hemorrhage is contraindicated.

Precautions
Patients allergic to this product should use it with caution.
If gastrointestinal reactions occur during administration, take the product within 30 minutes after meals.
This product is a capsule preparation; do not remove the capsule shell and take the contents directly.
